What jobs are there for people in the military that can not go into combat?

I'm fourteen and I wanted to go into the army last year but after lookin into it I found out that I can't go into combat. I'm still interested in serving in any way that I can but I'd like to go into the military instead, but I have no idea what I am capable of doing. I would like to make this a career, any suggestions?

Combat Arms (i.e. Infantry, Armor, Artillery, etc) are those jobs whose primary mission is to engage in direct combat. That does not mean that you will not be in COMBAT. read below:

The trained killer jobs, not so much. The rule of thumb would be any job that has as its main goal direct contact with the enemy is out.



That is not to say that you will not see combat as a woman. You could be driving a truck and get ambushed. You could have to defend your base from being overun by the enemy. You could be an MP and be attacked at a check point, etc etc etc.

The only Army you can join with a guarantee of no combat is the Salvation Army.
