Ive been looking into upgrading the video card on my Dell Dimension 4500S. There are 2 PCI inputs, one is very small, and the other is normal for graphics cards, but that one is split into 2 more, and the mounting on it is awkward. There is a limited amount of space in the splitting case and the power supply on the computer is limited. Which card would work, and do I need to upgrade the power supply. If so, could you give me an example of one that would work?What Video Card is Compatable with a Dell Dimention 4500S?That PC is built on a non-standard platform and it will be next to impossible to upgrade the video on it. 180w PSU is not standard and there are no AGP/PCI or PCIE connectors on the motherboard.
Even if there were, it is doubtful anything will fit into the tiny spaces allotted.
