How long does it normally take for dell desktop pc's to go through Factory Phases?

I ordered a Dell Xps 430 on November 20, 2008 and its currently Jan. 3, 2009. The original date was Dec. 16 then then they phoned and said it would be delayed till before Christmas then after that to the 29th and its still now here. I emailed them 3 days ago and i still have no answer and my dad phoned and all they said was there still building it.How long does it normally take for dell desktop pc's to go through Factory Phases?The delays are caused by lack of parts usually. They are waiting for something to continue the build. Obviously the Holidays have also contributed to the delay.



I would guess that a call now would speed the process up especially if it included a friendly suggestion that the order would be canceled if not shipped within the next 3 days.How long does it normally take for dell desktop pc's to go through Factory Phases?Wow. i think if you order it with regular shipping they take thier sweet *** time. I ordered mine express shipping and paid 50 bucks but it came quickly. my sister ordered her laptop with reg shipping and it took bout month and a half.How long does it normally take for dell desktop pc's to go through Factory Phases?That all depends on the "add-ons" you selected and how busy they are.
