There is a function to turn it of but it most likely enable at the next re-boot
( Fn key held and press the F key with the hand picture on it ).
To disable it..
Hold windows key and press R.
Now type in msconfig in the box and hit enter.
Now click start up.
You need to uncheck the mouse/pointer driver entry and apply.
