How can i get reinstall software for a dell inspiron 1525 with windows vista 32bit as the OS?

My note book crashed and I went reinstall vista, with the cd that came with my dell studio, but the driver and utilities, as well as the other install cd's(applications, etc.) are all formatted for the studioHow can i get reinstall software for a dell inspiron 1525 with windows vista 32bit as the OS?You can request a free set of disks for your Inspiron 1525 from Dell by filling the form out located here: https://support.dell.com/support/topics/鈥?/a>

As long as the Operating System from the Studio is the same that was originally installed on the 1525 you should be fine. In the mean time if you would like to install the drivers for your Inspiron 1525 you can download and install them from here: http://support.dell.com/support/download鈥?/a>

If you have not started the reinstall of the Operating System another method is to perform a Dell PC Restore. Please note this type of Restore will remove everything that has been installed on the computer since receiving it from Dell. Please follow this link for instructions on this: http://support.dell.com/support/topics/g鈥?/a>

As per the link since the system shipped with Windows Vista:

"Restart the computer. To do this, click Start, click the arrow next to the Lock button, and then click Restart.

As the computer restarts, press the F8 key until the Advanced Boot Options menu appears on the screen.

Note: You must press F8 before the Windows logo appears on the screen. If you press F8 after the Windows logo appears, the Advanced Boot Options menu does not appear on the screen. If you do not see the Advanced Boot Options menu, restart the computer, and then repeat this step until you see the menu on the screen.

Press the (Down Arrow) to select Repair Your Computer on the Advanced Boot Options menu, and then press Enter.

Specify the language settings that you want, and then click Next.

Log in as a user who has administrative credentials, and then click OK.

Click Dell Factory Image Restore.

In the Dell Factory Image Restore window, click Next.

Click to select the check box for Yes, reformat hard drive and restore system software to factory condition.

Click Next. The computer is restored to the default factory configuration.

When the restore operation is completed, click Finish to restart the computer."

I hope this helps.
