How do you create an ITunes account on a Dell computer? Is it different than on a Mac?

I'm trying to teach my friend (a new ITunes user) how to set up an ITunes account on her computer, a Dell. I know how to set up mine, but I have a Mac computer. I'm not sure if the steps are different, because of the different companies. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks! How do you create an ITunes account on a Dell computer? Is it different than on a Mac?The only real difference is that the Dell doesn't have the iTunes application installed on it yet. To do so follow these steps:

1. Go to http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

2. Save this file in a place you will be able to find it (I usually suggest the Desktop or Downloads folder.

3. Once you have downloaded it, find the file, double click on it and follow the instructions to install iTunes on the computer.

Once it is installed, you will want to run iTunes. After opening iTunes, the steps you would usually take are very similar and you should notice the familiar iTunes which you have been kind enough to help your friend learn.
