How do you get the Dell m1710 light's to dance with music?

Dell M1710 laptop

Windows 7

There are multi color led's all over this thing. They worked when new. Meaning danced with music and alternated back and forth etc'. Now it has Windows 7 and i have no idea how to get these to do anything except stay on. What do i need to use to reactivate? How do you get the Dell m1710 light's to dance with music?Well, if you upgraded to Windows 7, meaning when you installed Windows 7, the computer was not wiped clean by the process, then the XPS LightFX drivers are apparently not compatible with Windows 7.

However, if when you upgraded to Windows 7, you had to start all over and reinstall everything, you apparently did not reinstall the Vista drivers for the XPS LightFX SDK. Ok. Sure. It's a Software Development Kit.

These are Vista drivers. Dell doesn't provide any Windows 7 drivers at all for that model laptop. So, if they don't work, your only option left is to actually break down and contact DELL and ask them for a solution... you know... seeing as they actually manufactured the laptop and all.

end of line
