Why are people in the military section afraid to answer questions about defending the US from radical islam?

I have asked twice if they think we should keep nations full of ,and led by, religious fanatics (most muslims) from getting nukes. Why is everybody being such a pu ssy about it? I thought that military folk were supposed to be among the few groups of people that understand the importance of defending against this real threat.

Does 9/11 prove that a worst case scenario can happen or what? Why are people in the military section afraid to answer questions about defending the US from radical islam? In the US, military leaders are afraid of their civilian counter parts, or more exactly their political bosses. Military leaders in the US are discouraged from offering opinion that can lead to a political slant.

Given the nature of today's political make up, I would find it refreshing to hear our military leaders, guys like David Patraeus, offer insight from a military perspective.

We already know, these upstart politicians have their heads up their collective @sses when it comes to international upmanship, perhaps it is time we heard it from someone with creditability, with the American people. Why are people in the military section afraid to answer questions about defending the US from radical islam?
That is for the military PR people to discuss not the soldiers, they are cautioned not say things that could be misconstrued or used against the US or its allies. That includes personal opinions especially in a time of military conflict. They are not ******* they are following orders. Why are people in the military section afraid to answer questions about defending the US from radical islam?Haven't you heard? It's not politically correct to connect Islam with terrorism any more. Obama does not want the words "terrorist" or "enemy combatant" used any longer. We must call them the deprived and needy who must be embraced. Look at what the Muslim population has done to Europe. We are right behind them if this garbage continues. Why are people in the military section afraid to answer questions about defending the US from radical islam?
I've been asking the same thing and some of the answers I've gotten have been scary as hell. Check out the answers to my latest on this subject.

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>Why are people in the military section afraid to answer questions about defending the US from radical islam?Ok...I just asked my husband (in the USMC) and he said:

The fewer the countries there are that have access to nukes, the better, whether those countries be educated, developed, underdeveloped, or full of religious fanatics. Why are people in the military section afraid to answer questions about defending the US from radical islam?
The reason is

Most kids in the military are just THAT "KIDS"

They really don't know %26amp; really Could care less about what is really happening in the REAL world.

Your asking them a question that they know nothing about

Hence NO REPLYS

When you were 18-19

could you have answerd your question Probably NOT

Kids do not have fear %26amp; really have no clue in world events

This is why so many of our Soldiers are so young

They have not had a chance to make an opinion of the world we live in
The US should bomb the **** out of Iran and take over it oil and just leave the cities, that would take them down a notch.
