I agree with many Republicans that the Military must be well funded.How many democrats agree that we should always have a well funded Military?Well funded is debatable. When we spend more than the world combined, that is too much.How many democrats agree that we should always have a well funded Military?
Military as defense? Or, military as offense? Big difference.



If your question was, "SHould we have a well funded defense, like Switzerland or Sweden?" Then the answer is absolutely. But let's be accurate here, should we have a well funded imperialistic military to secure the profits of Exxon, Shell, Halliburton, Ratheon, Boeing etc? Now the Ruskies and the US have tons and tons of nuclear waste for nothing. Thanks for the debt Ronnie. To provide for the national defense doesn't require the trillions of dollars that get spent on useless foreign conquest. We don't even keep what we're invading.
I consider myself a Moderate Democrat and I think that a well funded military is essential. I wish we increased our budget to the military to 1 trillion dollars. Must be? Why must it be? Can't we do this within reason. We spend too much. We don't need to spend 20x what other countries do.
We would have a well-funded military at 10% of the current military budget. I'm for that.
I think Obama found that having a half billion dollars in cruise missiles in the warehouse comes in handy.
Then don't complain about taxes when it is well funded.
"well funded" leaves too much room for discussion...hence the problem
