If the government cannot manage health care, should we trust a government run military to defend the country?

Conservatives say the government is inept and the private sector is brilliant, so do you want an inept government military defending our country? Wouldn鈥檛 privatizing the military be better?

If on the other hand, we have the best military in the world, couldn鈥檛 that same government run the best medical system in the world? If the government cannot manage health care, should we trust a government run military to defend the country?Fact, 200+ years of being safe

Fact, SSI almost bankrupt

Fact, Medicare/caid both are almost broke.

Maybe it's easier to kill than heal?

You can be good at one thing and suck at others, look at Tiger!

We can have a great military and still not be able to run healthcare, I don't think they are mutually exclusive. Apples and oranges actually. If the government cannot manage health care, should we trust a government run military to defend the country?I trust the military far more than I do the current government. But if you want to see a prime example of what government run health care would be like in this Country, check out the VA.

The biggest problem with your premise is that the current government has a "vision" of what it thinks health care should be like. That would not improve service. If the government cannot manage health care, should we trust a government run military to defend the country? The government pays the military, but even then the military does best when run by the military, not the bureaucrats. If the government cannot manage health care, should we trust a government run military to defend the country?
No, most of military is privatized hence northrop grumman and lockheed martin.
