Anyone in the military know?What can affect whether or not you get your enlistment bonus in the military?Who knows. At least in the National Guard. A new recruit got arrested for shop lifting a couple of months before going to boot camp and they got their bonus a month after completing boot camp. While a person with 8 years in the military that just re-enlisted with a clean record is still waiting for their bonus over a year from re-enlisting.

Nothing should stop it unless you really screw up bad, they probably have conditions for payout if you are flagged for some reason, but I don't even know that for sure, but I wouldn't think it would be something to worry about.What can affect whether or not you get your enlistment bonus in the military?Not becoming qualified in your job will delay your bonus, receiving 8 awols will revoke your bonus (remeber one day has two report times, so one day is 2 awols), making changes to your contract after BCT and become MOS Q'd... look at your 4/1, 4/2, and your annex A (bonus amendum, these are the docs you received a copy of the days you enlisted at your local MEPS... also check for scanned copies on your IPERMS account) it will clearly state any violations contact your incentives manager if you are not receiving your bonus, and rember it can take up to 2 months after your report home/arrive to your duty station to receive your bonus
