Are there any benefits of a dual military marraige?

Hey, my boyfriend is in the National Guard, and I am looking in to ROTC programs. I really want to join, and I want to convince him that there are some benefits of being in a dual military relationship. Benefits, pros, cons, anything is greatly apreciated! ROTC would be full time AD, he'd be Guard. getting stationed together would be damend near impossible. Officer/enlisted relationships are much harder as well, even if you are not in violation of Fraternization regs.
